The Yukon Contractors Association (YCA) is pleased to announce that Samuel (Sam) Braham will join the YCA team as Operations Manager effective October 1, 2025.
Sam holds a degree in International Trade and has over 15 years of professional experience in supply chain management, specializing in logistics for imports and exports. Much of his career was spent as a customs compliance & regulations manager, working with spirits, beers and liquors. Most recently, Sam served as the Office Manager at the Yukon Chamber of Commerce, where he supported operations, administration, and stakeholder relations during a period of significant transition.
Sam shared “I am originally from Mexico City, and my family and I moved to Whitehorse, Yukon, more than two years ago when my wife accepted a job opportunity here. We live with our six-year-old son Sam Jr.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking advantage of the Yukon’s beautiful outdoors, whether that’s spending time at the lakes, hiking, or going on road trips discovering new places. Despite coming from a tropical climate, I especially enjoy the Yukon winter and the unique experiences it brings.
I am excited to now be starting fully this new chapter in my career with the YCA, and I am here to contribute as much as I can to the Association, the industry sector, the membership, and the community. Thank you for this important opportunity for my professional career and development.”
YCA Board President,Terry Sherman stated that “We are thrilled to have Sam join us at a time where his professional experience, client-focused approach, and leadership competencies will help the YCA to grow our membership and support our advocacy work on behalf of our members.”
